B3 Group Holdings

Your life's work, carried forward.

We buy small, well-run businesses from owners who care what happens next — and we keep the name, the team, and the character that made them worth buying in the first place.

Start a conversation No obligation, no pressure, and nothing moves until you want it to.

You've probably had letters like ours before.

Most of them open by telling you what's wrong with your business.

This one doesn't. We're interested precisely because it's working. A business that has lasted this long, and earned people's trust, doesn't happen by accident — and we've no intention of interfering with the parts that got it there.

If you've started thinking about what comes next, whether that's a year from now or much sooner, we'd like to be someone you consider.

Our Commitment

What stays the same

Handing over something you've built is not a small thing. So here is what we commit to long before anyone talks about numbers.

01

The name stays the name.

We're not rebranding what you spent years getting people to recognise. The sign above the door stays as it is.

02

Your people keep their jobs.

Your team is a large part of what makes the place what it is. They stay where they are, doing what they already do well.

03

The way you do things.

Your standards, your suppliers, your regulars, the small habits that make customers come back — those aren't inefficiencies to be stripped out. They're the business.

04

Your legacy stays yours.

Your name is attached to this, and it will stay attached. What we take on, we take on with the intention of keeping it worth your name.

Where We Help

And what we'd change — carefully

Where we can be useful, we'd like to be. In practice that usually looks like three things.

01

Modern tools that earn their place.

Better systems for bookings, stock, payroll, invoicing and the online side of things — the admin that quietly eats an owner's week. Only where it genuinely saves time.

02

Lightening the load.

A great deal of what wears owners down isn't the work itself, it's everything around it. We take that on.

03

Room to grow, at a pace that suits.

Growth the team, the premises and the customers can absorb. Not growth that breaks the thing that was working.

This isn't about flipping a business or running one from a distance. It's about putting real experience toward something real, with people worth working alongside.

About

Who you'd be dealing with

B3 Group Holdings was founded by Huguette Bukasa, who spent more than ten years in corporate roles building and scaling digital products and businesses.

The reason for starting B3 is straightforward. The businesses that impressed her most were never the biggest ones. They were the small, independent ones with a proper reputation — owners who knew their customers by name, teams who had been there years, the sort of business that holds a high street or a neighbourhood together. And the sort that too often closes for no better reason than there being nobody to take it on.

That part is personal. B3 was built out of family, and out of a wish to continue what her family started: the belief that you build something worth handing to the next person, and that whoever you hand it to should treat it as carefully as you did.

When you talk to B3, you're talking to Huguette. Not an analyst, not an intermediary.

What We Look For

The kind of businesses we look for

We're deliberately narrow. If most of this sounds like you, it's worth a conversation.

  • Established. Several years of trading behind it, ideally longer.
  • Solid, not spectacular. Profitable and steady matters far more to us than fast-growing.
  • Owner-led. An owner thinking about stepping back, retiring, or simply doing less.
  • Well thought of. Customers who come back, and a name that means something locally.
  • A team worth keeping. People we'd want to keep, and who'd want to stay.
  • UK-based.

If you're not sure you fit, ask anyway. We'd far rather have a short conversation than have you talk yourself out of one.

The Process

How a conversation works

01

We talk, informally

A call or a coffee. No paperwork, no figures needed. Mostly you telling us about the business and what you'd want for it.

02

We look properly

If it feels like a fit on both sides, we'd look at the business in detail — at your pace, in confidence, and with you knowing exactly what we're looking at and why.

03

We agree what next looks like

Including your part in it. Some owners want a clean handover, others want to stay involved for a while. Both are fine; it's your call, not a condition of ours.

You can stop at any point. And if the timing turns out to be wrong, the door stays open — come back to us whenever it's right.

Questions

Questions owners usually ask

Do I have to be ready to sell?+

No. A good many of our conversations are with owners who are a year or three away, or simply thinking out loud. It's useful to know each other before the decision matters.

Will my staff find out?+

Not from us. Conversations are confidential, and when and how you tell your team is entirely your decision.

Will you change the name?+

No.

What if I want to stay involved?+

Then stay involved. We'd rather have you than not, and we'll shape the handover around what you want.

How long does all this take?+

As long as you need it to. We aren't working to anyone else's deadline.

What happens to my customers?+

They keep dealing with the same business, the same people and the same name. Most wouldn't notice anything had changed, which is rather the point.

Even just to see whether there's a fit. There's no obligation and no pressure — and if now isn't the right time, keep us for whenever it might be.
